BE IT RESOLVED THAT this regular meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Billings be opened with a quorum of members present at 7:30 p.m. with Reeve Aus Hunt presiding in the Chair.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the August 16, 2004 regular meeting be accepted as presented.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Minutes of the August 20, 2004 special meeting be accepted as presented.

04-273 Tuomi – Bright
BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Billings is in favour of option 2 of the Manitoulin-Sudbury District Social Services Administration Board’s (DSSAB) apportionment formula (with power dam).

04-274 Tuomi – Alkenbrack
BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council authorizes the following accounts for payment:
General Accounts $60,415.33
Public Works $31,862.35
and that the Reeve and Clerk be authorized to sign cheques #3698 to #3758 as described in the attached cheque register.

04-275 Bright – Tuomi
BE IT RESOLVED THAT in accordance with Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001 S.O., c25, this Council proceed to a closed session at 8:25 p.m. in order to discuss a matter pertaining to personal matters about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT council adjourn from our closed session and resume our regular meeting.
