Council John Bright declared a pecuniary Interest concerning Item 6 (c) which
was New Business, library.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT this regular meeting of the Council of the Corporation of
the Township of Billings be opened with a quorum of members present at 7:30 p.m.
with Reeve Aus Hunt presiding in the Chair.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT By-Law 2004-19, being a By-Law to adopt the Fire Services
Contract between the Corporation of the Township of Central Manitoulin and the
Corporation of the Township of Billings be given first and second reading.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT By-Law 2004-19, being a By-law to adopt the Fire Services

November 11, 2004, free of charge.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT we rent the Park Centre upstairs and downstairs to the Ice
Lake Church of Christ for 12 16 weeks at $75. per week (Sundays 3 hours). $100
damage deposit and key deposit of $25.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Billings
instruct the Clerk Treasurer to write off the interest of $93.45 on Roll No. 51
21 000 005 119 00, due to an error made by the lawyer at the time of purchase.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council of the Corporation of the Township of Billings
support the application to the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation from
the Capital Assistance to Enhance Drinking Water Protection in Northern Ontario

is a by-law to authorize capital borrowing regarding the new water tower and

BE IT RESOLVED THAT BY-Law 2004-21, being a by-law to amend by-law 2004-16 which
is a by-law to authorize certain capital works of the Corporation of the
Township of Billings to authorize the Reeve and Clerk to execute an agreement
with the Bank of Montreal for financing such capital works; to authorize
temporary borrowing to meet expenditures in connection with such works; and to
authorize long term borrowing for such works through the issue of debentures, be
given first and second reading.

S.O., Chapter 25, this Council proceed to a Closed Session at 9 p.m. in order to
discuss a matter pertaining to a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition
of land by the municipality or local board.
