BE IT RESOLVED THAT this meeting be opened at 7:00 p.m. on October 2, 2007 as a Public Meeting of the Township of Billings pursuant to the requirements of Section 34(12) and (13) of the Planning Act for purposes for providing information to the public and to allow for public representations on an application proposing to amend Zoning By-law 80-11 for the Township of Billings notice of which has been duly administered according to the requirements of O.Reg. 545/06.

Opening Remarks by Chair, Austin Hunt.

Reeve Hunt described the application to be considered, being 8011ABL-07-004. He explained the proposal, the reason and information on the subject land.
Jeannine Gravelle, of Concession 13, Lot 9 presented a petition signed by five property owners concerning the by-law amendment. Reasons given for the objection was industry noice, fire hazard, air quality issues, reduction in property values and the negative impact of increased trucking and traffic. Brad MacKay was given an opportunity to explain what he was doing to alleviate the problems associated with the issues raised in the petition. Carried |
