BE IT RESOLVED THAT this regular meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Billings be opened with a quorum of members present at 7:30 p.m. with Reeve Austin Hunt presiding in the Chair. Carried

BE IT RESOLVED THAT we accept the Minutes of the March 7, 2006 council meeting as presented. Carried

BE IT RESOLVED THAT we rescind resolution 06-047 and that we agree to support the Manitoulin Centennial Manor for 2006 with the same amount of funding that we gave in 2005. Carried

BE IT RESOLVED THAT we accept the 2005 Water Summary Report as presented. Carried

06-064 Alkenbrack Tuomi

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council authorizes the following accounts for payment:    General Accounts    $101,725.27    Public Works            $ 12,166.50    Water Capital           $ 20,708.01 And that the Reeve and Treasurer be authorized to sign cheques #5424 to #5462 and water capital cheques 37 and 38, as described in the attached register. Carried

06-065 Alkenbrack Tuomi

BE IT RESOLVED THAT we rescind resolution 06-025 and that we do not purchase the container as previously agreed to since two new sheds have been constructed to serve the purpose of the container. Carried

BE IT RESOLVED THAT we adjourn from this regular meeting of council until our next regular meeting of April 4, 2006, or Call of the Chair. Carried
