BE IT RESOLVED THAT this regular meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Billings be opened at 7:30 p.m. with Reeve Austin Hunt presiding in the Chair. Carried

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the minutes of the June 18, 2007 meeting of Council be accepted as presented. Carried

BE IT RESOLVED THAT By-Law 2007-09, being a By-Law for the purpose of amending Zoning By-Law No. 80-11 of the Township of Billings, in respect to Application No. 80-11ZBL-07-001 to permit by Special Provision, the location and installation of two (2) wind turbines within the Rural Zone on lands within Lot 5, Concession 7, Township of Billings, District of Manitoulin be read a first and second time this 3rd day of July, 2007. BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council authorizes the following accounts for payment:   General Accounts     $55,226.00   Public Works             $44,269.37 And that the Reeve and Treasurer be authorized to sign cheques #6498 to 6528 as described in the attached register. Carried

BE IT RESOLVED THAT in accordance with Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001 S.O. Chapter 25, this Council proceed to a Closed Session at 8:15 p.m. in order to discuss a matter pertaining to litigation potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunal, affecting the municipality or local board. Carried

BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council adjourn from this in camera session and resume our regular meeting. Carried
