BE IT RESOLVED THAT this meeting be opened at 7:00 p.m. on December 19, 2011 as a Public Meeting of the Municipality of Billings and Allan East, pursuant to the requirements of Section 34(12) and (13) of the Planning Act for purposes of providing information to the public and to allow for public representations on an application proposing to amend Zoning By-Law No. 80-11 for the Municipality of Billings and Allan East, notice of which has been duly administered according to the requirements of Ontario Reg. 545/06.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT the agenda for the Municipality of Billings and Allan East Public Meeting of December 19^th, 2011 be adopted as distributed.

Mayor Hunt welcomed everyone to the meeting.

 

Mayor Hunt explained that the purpose and reason for the By-Law Amendment was:   The Restricted Area zoning By-Law No. 80-11 is to be amended and by Special Provision, Section 8, to permit up to four (4) portable storage containers, to be used and located having a minimum front yard setback of 47 metres, accessory to the existing uses, in a Rural (R)Zone, within the lands described as Part Lot 13, Conc. VIII, being Part 1, Plan 31R-3666, (10221 Hwy 540), Township of Allan, Municipality of Billings and Allan East, District of Manitoulin, registered in the Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of Manitoulin (31), despite any other requirements of Zoning By—Law No. 80-11.

 

There was no public representation at the meeting.  Mr. Brad MacKay, applicant, provided a letter to the members of Council apologizing for being unable to attend the meeting.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT this Public Meeting of the Municipality of Billings and Allan East be adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
