PRESENT:

BE IT RESOLVED THAT this special meeting of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Billings be opened for business at 3:00 p.m. with Reeve Hunt presiding in the Chair.
CARRIED.

03-112 Alkenbrack - McLean
BE IT RESOLVED THAT WHEREAS we have applied for funding under the Capital Assistance to Enhance Northern Communities Program under the N.O.H.F.C., which includes funding to purchase a 'new to us' fire truck;
AND WHEREAS both Fire Department and Office Staff have put forward Requests for Proposals to find current apparatus that is available;
AND WHEREAS one vehicle which is strongly recommended by the Members of the Fire Department is available through Canadian Fire Trucks;
NOW THEREFORE THAT subject to confirmation that funding is available and the signing of the requisite legal agreement, we authorize the purchase of a 1978 International, Load Star Tanker for a total purchase price of $ 59,700.00 inclusive of taxes.
CARRIED.

03-113 McColman - McLean
BE IT RESOLVED THAT we authorize an addendum to Resolution # 03-108 to allow Randy Noble Construction to perform up to $2,000.00 in dredging for Northern Marina.
CARRIED.

03-114 McLean - McColman
BE IT RESOLVED THAT we adjourn until the next regular meeting.

CARRIED.
